Brian Plessala, Esq.

Brian M. Plessala, an Associate with York & Wainfeld, APC, is an experienced litigator, handling a wide variety of personal injury cases including premises liability, products liability, construction negligence, automobile, medical malpractice and general negligence. Mr. Plessala has handled a wide variety of  jury trials involving catastrophic injury, automobile v. bicycle, major orthopedic injury claims in premises liability action, auto v. auto, auto v. pedestrian, truck v. motorcycle, slip and falls and defense of major manufacturer and retailer in products liability action.  Mr. Plessala has a wealth of experience with construction defect litigation and property damage cases as well as with business and securities litigation, oil and gas cases and employment litigation.

Mr. Plessala has successfully represented diverse clients including major product and component manufacturers and distributors, automotive manufacturers and dealers, automotive service industry, concert promoters, property owners and managers, and the delivery service industry. His construction defect and property damage litigation includes representation of developers and general contractors as well as high-exposure subcontractors such as framers, window manufacturers and installers, and stucco subcontractors and pool builders. Mr. Plessala also has a proven track defeating litigation through law and motion, including numerous successful summary judgment motions, demurrers and motions for judgment on pleading.

Mr. Plessala was admitted to the California Bar in 1989, after obtaining his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1989, graduating in the top 30% of his class. He received a Bachelor of Arts in History from California State University, Northridge, in 1986.

Mr. Plessala was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Southern California. Mr. Plessala is married with two children. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, exercising and music.
