Gabe H. Wainfeld, Esq.

Born in Argentina, Gabriel H. Wainfeld received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1984 from the University of California at Los Angeles. He earned his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1988 from Whittier College School of Law, where he participated in the Whittier Moot Court Competition.  A founding partner of the Law Offices of York & Wainfeld, Mr. Wainfeld is experienced in handling litigation matters from inception through mediations, arbitrations and trials.  He has been handling attorney in the areas of construction defect, business, general liability, automobile liability, public entity, including the defense of common carriers, premises liability and general tort litigation and is familiar with the California Tort Claims Act. His vast  jury experience has resulted in numerous defense verdicts.

 Mr. Wainfeld has successfully defended business owners, retail establishments, bus companies, insurance companies and individuals in various civil lawsuits arising out of serious personal injuries and property damage claims.  Mr. Wainfeld works closely with clients to analyze a dispute with the goal of resolving the case in an efficient manner. 

 A member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, Mr. Wainfeld is licensed to practice in all of the courts of the State of California and Federal District courts. He has also served as a settlement officer in the Los Angeles Superior Court. 

 Mr. Wainfeld and his wife have three children.  He is active in coaching his children's baseball and basketball teams.  He volunteers at the YMCA in the coordination of their youth athletic programs, and is on the Board of Directors at Northridge Little League.  He is also an avid tennis player.
